Description:

• Iphiona  is a wild shrub that grows in Al-Ain near Jebel Hafeet and Hatta and locally known as "Hawa Al-Ghazal حوا الغزال"
• The whole plant, especially the leaves are toxic. There are recorded cases of camel deaths due to Iphiona.

Symptoms of toxicity include:

• Acute hepatic and renal impairment that may lead to deatِh have been reported.
